Another idea of another product
I was thinking swimming goggles. At the moment, im struggling to find images that I would like to recreate.. i think it will be similar to the others but I want to use tiles as the foreground, and maybe.. maybe shoot it through a sheet of glass thats wet.. to give an idea of where its at... i dunno... just ideas going through my head atm..
Not sure how i would light them.. probably from the top.. but all in all i think this one will be the big experimental shot...

THEME
Im not sure whether or not to do a theme, or if i do.. what to do as a theme.. do I keep it to one brand.. one type..
I was hoping to do like snow goggles and then also like a welding helmet and stuff like that..
If i was to do that, then i suppose the theme would be reflective surfaces designed to protect the user...
Ideas??

Soo.. this is what I have been looking for, it took a bit to track down, a few fb msg's to certain people.. but I found it on the CIT Photography Central Blog.. soo yay!!
My plan is to start here and see what be done in terms of differently lighting styles with this type of commercial object :)
Am very excited to start...!!
Over the next few months I want to put together a few ideas and a bunch of images that i would like to acheive or atleast derive an idea from to create my studio porfolio.

Not the one im looking for but gives me a starting point...
So.. i've been after a particular link for a while now and can't for the life of me find it.. soo very frustrating.. but i have found a similar one..

So it gives me some sort of idea.. but not exactly what i was after.. not keen on shooting it in a light box.. takes out all the fun hahaha

Ideas for studio proposal...
I was thinking small product... and i like the idea of learning to photograph highly reflective objects well.. so i figured sunglasses was good enough as any.. plus i kno ppl who work in places like sunglass hut.. so i have the readily available... :)
I'm looking for tutes on how to do it, so i can get some sort of starting point.. and i have found this website as as start, in respect to the types of images i would like to achieve throughout this semester...

The images are clean and make the dominant in the image, which is what I believe is the single purpose of commerical photography, to sell the object...
I think on thing that these sets of images fail to do is show any sort of branding.. this could have been deliberate due to particular legal issues arrising...
I am going to keep looking around in respect to ACTUAL tutorials, I know I have seen one recently but cannot for the life of me find it!!! Blah!!
